SQUADRON CADET FIRST SERGEANT PINS ON NEW STRIPES
ABERDEEN PROVING GROUND, Md. (Jan. 8, 2020) -- Civil Air Patrol's Harford Composite Squadron celebrated the promotion of its first sergeant in a Jan. 7 ceremony during its weekly meeting. Cadet Brady Warble earned Achievement 5, known as the Charles Lindbergh Award. The achievement comes with master sergeant stripes, or in Warble's case, first sergeant -- master sergeant stripes with a diamond.

About Charles Lindbergh
Charles Lindbergh was the first person to fly solo, non-stop, across the Atlantic Ocean, aboard the "Spirit of St. Louis." in 1927. The excitement generated by this accomplishment paved the way for commercial flight. In later years, Lindbergh served science by working in designing an artificial heart.
